Quick Cask for Teens Sample Chapter

There has NEVER been a better time for teenagers to start their own business!

Starting a business can make good dollars and sense for a teen. It’s a great way to earn more than the minimum wage. Be your own boss. Even do something you love. So how do you start your own business? Let one of America’s top experts on teens and their money break it down for you, step-by-step. In this easy to understand guide, Peter delivers the bottom line, from getting rich by finding your niche to bringing in customers, from making the best use of the Internet to creating income and cash flow statements. You’ll also find 101 businesses that are easy to start up quickly and with little money, a glossary of business terms, real-life stories of other teen entrepreneurs, and a special section for parents and teachers.

Small Business Ideas for TeenagersUnless you’re excited about making minimum wage flipping burgers, now is the time to try your hand as an entrepreneur.  My new book Quick Cash for Teens (Sterling, PB, May 2009) will show you how to get paid, doing the things you love.

Hi, I’m Peter Bielagus and welcome to my website.  I was a teenage entrepreneur myself.  While most of my friends were earning minimum wage, I was earning $75 an hour in high school!  Running my own business, I could work when I wanted and where I wanted.  I even hired some of my friends and gave them a chance to earn some extra dough.  Now I spend my time speaking to students about how to start their own business.  Quick Cash For Teens shows you exactly how I and thousands of other entrepreneurs do it!

The book has everything you need to start your own business.  It includes all the basics: sample budget worksheets, marketing plans, press releases, and cash-flow statements.  (that’s right, I’ve done most of the work for ya!) You’ll also find plans for 101 businesses that are easy to start up quickly with little money, a glossary of business terms, and real-life stories of other teen entrepreneurs. BTW there’s stuff for parents and teachers in there as well.

Simple and Fun Business Ideas for Kids and Teens

Think about it.  Wouldn’t it be cool to get paid to teach other kids how to play sports?  Or the guitar?  Wouldn’t it be cool if you could take your favorite hobby, whether that was video games, mountain biking or cooking, and get paid to do what you love?  My book will show you how.  Feel free to look around the site.  I’ve put up a lot of great resources for entrepreneurs.
